About Me

Hi, I’m Courtney— the founder and owner of Cultiv8or, LLC, garden designer, and personal gardener based in Suffolk, VA.My love for plants started as a creative outlet and quickly grew into something more. Over the past 6+ years, I’ve worked hands-on with gardens, containers, and both indoor and outdoor spaces of all kinds. I like to blend art, care, and functionality to help plants and people flourish. I’ve studied horticulture at a college level (Tidewater Community College, Oregon State University, Tel Aviv University), deepened my plant knowledge, and built a foundation rooted in both creativity and expertise.I created Cultiv8or as more than just a play on the gardening tool "cultivator." The name represents my deeper mission: to cultivate growth, beauty, and connection in gardens, with people, and in everyday spaces. Every project I take on is approached with attention to detail, and a desire to bring beauty, peace and joy through nature into every environment that I work in.Whether you’re looking to refresh a flower bed, style seasonal containers, or reimagine your outdoor space entirely, I’m here to help you grow something beautiful and bring your vision to life.
